He blinks at her, and then at the TV, and just for a second it is loud and clear across his face that he wants to double-check that that's a metaphor. Just in case. And not... some weird alien invention that actually decreases braincells as some diabolical plot.
It's just a second, though, and then he shakes his head a little and gives her a smile instead. "I'm not sure I see where you got part B from part A. I'd rather keep the braincells I've got."
